On the 14th of December, two different groups of Swedish master students from Uppsala University presented their projects on disinfection using the EO technology. Their work shows several possibilities to use the technique both for disinfection and reduction of PFAS in water systems. For example, the EO can be used to disinfect water containing legionella, which are typical microbes that can cause severe problems (pneumonia).
