We are excited to announce that the LIFE-SOuRCE project will be hosting an interactive session at the upcoming AquaConSoil conference. This session will provide an in-depth overview of the project’s approaches for PFAS removal, spotlighting the urgent challenges posed by PFAS contamination in Europe and present results and conclusions from the two demonstration sites where the LIFE-SOuRCE treatment trains have been applied for remediation of PFAS contaminated groundwater.
Participants will gain insight into the project’s specific objectives related to PFAS management and remediation, as well as the cutting-edge technologies employed, including the innovative treatment train approach and various techniques such as surface-active foam fractionation (SAFF), anion exchange filters (AEX), phytoremediation (PHYTO), and electrochemical oxidation (EO).
The session will feature presentations from experts from EURECAT, Envytech Solutions AB, ESOLVE, SLU, and Nova Diamant. The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion, moderated by SGI, and audience Q&A, promoting collaboration and exchange of ideas.
Join us at AquaConSoil to learn more about the LIFE-SOuRCE project’s innovative solutions for PFAS contamination and contribute to the development of sustainable water treatment technologies!
